This place is amazing!! I was in Terminal D with a 4 hour layover ... they have FREE massage chairs in a zen garden near Gate D1 ... get a FREE token from the Fila shop next door and have a 10 minute massage for FREE ... they mark your boarding pass with a pencil, so bring an eraser and go back for seconds!!! :) The smoking lounge is right next door to Gate D1 and is glassed in, with amazing air cleaning ventilators, and there are cute plastic gun-shaped lighters to use. Free internet access between Gates D2 and D3. Widescreen TV lounge in the same spot with CNN in english. Bring a sweater since it is FREEZING. The bathrooms are immaculate. There are plenty of 3 and 4 seater sofas with nice cushions. Very impressed with the whole experience.

"I stayed here on long layovers both there-and-back between San Francisco and Phnom Penh. This airport was built to accommodate at least twice as many gates as they have, and then there are these weird photo displays set up in the unused gates to fill up space. There are great-looking play zones for kids and a really lovely orchid display. More importantly for me there is plenty of peace and quiet down at the ends of the terminals. Sleeping was easy. This is an eerie airport, with cavernous spaces and nothing at all to do. Unless you want to spend a lot of money, then you can buy a gucci bag at the duty free or stay in the airport hotel.
But here's the real story on this airport:
I got a wicked case of food poisoning from a noodle bowl I ate here a few hours before my flight. I was vomiting in the airplane lavatory all the way across the Pacific. Thank god I was on EVA and they have nice flight attendants. DO NOT eat from the soup and noodle shop across from the Starbucks in the main terminal. If you gain nothing else from my submitted comments, I hope I can at least spare you the torture of that. Happy travels..."
