"Sarajevo International Airport is a great little airport. Since there are no connection flights from SJJ and airport is closed over night, there is no chance to sleep there. Anyway, if you have to wait at the airport (and you can expect so due the frequent fog delays), you will find lot of space in departures terminal, and not so much in arrivals. Airport building is clean, safe and well controlled by local police (young, english speaking and friendly professionals), there are few stores, duty frees, fast food, bookshop, and most important, seats are quite comfortable and extremely clean. No-one will bother you, because "no sticking nose in other people's lives" is primary philosophy of Europeans, and Bosnians consequently. I am frequent traveler and have seen many airports, so I can tell this is the one of the best among small, no-transit airports."
